Ultra Trail (Qatar) is an informal racing series organised by Steve Farnham – long-term member of the Doha Bay Running Club. Running in the desert is always a physical challenge and a visual delight. So I have decided to tell the story of this race with pictures:
6am: Thick Fog on the Dukhan Highway slows us down
The fog begins to lift on the outskirts of Zekreet

I completed my run in 1:48:33 (officially) which included time taken to stop and take photos. The route was fun to run, challenging under foot but visually spectacular and the general organisation and support is top-notch!

This looks insane! I’d love to take more running vacations…here’s to planning for 2016!
Thanks. It is fun running in the desert. Sadly not a vacation, just where I work!!
Wow! 🙂
Thanks niki :D. Proof that wherever one is in the world, there is always an interesting trail to run somewhere nearby
