Yet another nugget of running insight from one of the blogs I follow. Love the hill
Hill run today. I really don’t know how many times the hill has attempted to conquer me or how many times I claim to have conquered it?! I written succinctly about the mighty, majestic mile mound. It’s with great gratitude and respect I endured the lesson waiting for me. Hill running takes a different kind of endurance, a different kind of mind set, and a different kind of willingness. I ran it yet again, willingly. I know the strength that I can draw from it isn’t found in flatlands. Its with my greatest wish for all runners to become open to the possibilities of a mound, be it big or small, long or short. Tapping into a new territory of running can ignite
a hidden passion. It did for me.
