Today I got to fly, to run free and zoom along a wild trail.
After an initial climb over 5Ks the trail followed the ridgeline of the mountain I found myself on and I spent the next 11ks winding my way down the mountain side. Along rocky ridges, through gullys filled with dead leaves, I splashed (well crunched) through rivers of dead leaves. Snow, ice, wide valleys stretching out below me and as the sun set, the tolling of the bells at the Buddhist Temples.
I am a very happy runner!!
